The DigitalPersona One Touch I.D. Software Development Kit (SDK) enables developers to add the convenience and speed of identification to their DigitalPersona fingerprint enabled applications. The One Touch I.D. SDK continues in the tradition of DigitalPersona SDKs in providing solid, proven tools for developers to incorporate into mission-critical applications. The One Touch I.D. SDK extends the functionality of the DigitalPersona One Touch for Windows, One Touch for Linux, Gold, Gold CE and Platinum SDKs with the ability to perform high-speed searches on a collection of enrolled fingerprints.

Developers who have created applications using the DigitalPersona One Touch for Windows, One Touch for Linux, Gold, Gold CE and Platinum SDKs can improve their offerings with the addition of identification capabilities. In addition, the One Touch I.D. SDK runs on Windows platforms (Vista, XP, 2000 and Server 2003) and incorporates a licensing process, which is flexible and convenient. This process enables you establish expiration dates to limit the validity of enrolled fingerprints, if needed. Once an enrolled fingerprint is licensed for use with identification, it can be stored in any number of databases or computers and retrieved from locations all over the world.
