This free, portable MINEX-certified fingerprint feature extractor enables device manufacturers and application developers to convert bulky fingerprint images into small, mathematical representations called fingerprint “templates” for efficient storage or comparison. FingerJetFX can run everywhere from embedded chips to desktop computers to the largest servers. It is released under the Lesser GNU Public License (LGPL), giving developers the flexibility to adapt the extractor to their particular platforms and applications. Also available in a commercially-licensed version (see below).

This commercially-licensed software gives device manufacturers and application developers MINEX-certified fingerprint feature extraction and template generation along with fast one-to-many identification and one-to-one verification. It can be embedded into chips, fingerprint sensors and mobile devices as well as run on PCs and large servers. Licenses are available for source code as well as binaries.

Integrator Packages
DigitalPersona has discontinued the sale of Platinum and Gold Integrator packages. Although we no longer bundle hardware and software together, the hardware can be purchased alone and the software (runtime environments) may be downloaded for free.
